Because, I mean, come on — it is a three door. Maybe I am just a mega huge dork, but in all of my dealings with BMW, I cannot quite recall ever seeing one quite like this.

A lot of the features are pretty similar to the entry version of the 1 Series model, but the graphics on the side cut line are different, as is the rear bumper, giving it a look that is a bit more planted. The kidney grill is bigger as well, improving the car’s airflow for what is considered the most economical engine ever produced by BMW.

The current BMW model lineup is split into what is referred to as “Series”, traditionally identified by a single digit – e.g. the 3 Series.
With the recent lineups in the BMW that had been separated into several models, they call it the “Series” it is commonly distinguished with the single digits as for example the 3 Series.

BMW last 2004 had declared plans in making the odd-numbered series saloon or sedan with the wagon model types (The company called it as the wagon Touring model types) then those of the even numbered series are called as the 2-door cabriolets. This had been started in a very informal manner last 1976 with the launching of the 6 Series and then continuously practiced to 1989 with that of 8 Series, it already died when the previous series has been discontinued on 1989 because of the revision of the Z4 in order to replace the old Z3 roadster as of 2003 and keeps on continuing with the 6 Series intensities and the existing series of BMW 5.

BMW 1 Series
The 1 Series of BMW has been introduced internationally during the fall season of 2004 and this model will be available, 2008 in North America. The model with the 3-door types will also be introduced by July of 2007, at the BMW global site.

The cockpit is dominated by the largely stretched lines and surfaces. The lower section of the dashboard was reorganized in the same color as the interior. Subjecting to a constraint the horizontal arrangement of the interior, the new form gives a generous feeling of spaciousness.

The soft rays and mixed surfaces help to integrate the console of center with its orders for the entertainment and air-conditioning functions harmoniously in the dashboard. The functional detailed solutions such as the new compartment of glove add less fuel, more pleasure of control. BMW Efficient Dynamics.

Behind lies of BMW Efficient Dynamics a package of the intelligent devices which reduce emissions considerably and improve consumption of fuel while, at the same time, amplifying the execution.

They make sure that news 1 series of BMW sets new standards in terms of effectiveness and saving in its engine: it is one of first BMWs to offer the new automatic function of stop of beginning, slows down the regeneration of energy and a crowd of modifications of drive train.

Together, they solve “power the dilemma counters of fuel consumption”, in a way in which never is not before considering. On average, you flicker approximately 10 times per minute. In this time, you miss 2.000 separate providing fuel injections as little as magnesium 2 of the fuel each time.

This exceptional level of precision is made possible by the positioning of the injectors of piezo which are located centrally between the valves. The engines in the BMW 118i and BMW 120i with the automatic function of stop of beginning incorporate this technology of cutting-edge making it possible the car to function in much longer lean-burn the mode for and with revs much higher.
