Anyone who has driven a BMW M5 model shouldn’t find too much to complain about when it comes to technology, aesthetics, and power. And yet, BMW is taking the M5 up another notch in both power and technology.

The luxury car company will give the M5 a twin-turbo V8, replacing the existing V10 engine. The V8 comes with about 600HP. There is also talk that the KERS system may also be added.

KERS, which stands for Kinetic Energy Recovery System, is an F1-derived power system that converts unused thrust to energy but stores it for the time-being. The KERS system uses this stored energy for a blast of power that can be activated with a button.

Surely, an M5 with a KERS system will make any BMW fan salivate. However, the system is hugely expensive and complex. Even the F1 team is having a lot of trouble with the KERS technology. Therefore, its addition to the M5 model may take several more years before it sees production.

Let’s not forget the turbo-charged engine. BMW plans to take out the 5.0L V10 engine with 507HP, to replace it with the more powerful, turbo-charged V8 engine. According to AutoExpress, the X5M and X6M model would come with the twin-turbo V8 engine with the 564HP output. And that the M5 would get a higher rate at 600HP – the most powerful BMW five series ever!

BMW sure has a lot of plans for the M5 since the M7’s production is said to be delayed. With the M5 as BMW’s front liner in performance, surely, it would be the driving force in both power and technology.

Yes, this car isn’t meant for lawyers or businessmen, but any pimp/playa will look absolutely “dope” in this one. Haha!

(that’s the only ghetto slang you’ll EVER get on BMW talk, that’s a promise).

This G-Power BMW M5 is quite the beast. From 0 to 60mph in just over 4 seconds. From 0 to 186mph in under 30 seconds. The 730 Horse Power V10 bursts tremendous power (I can only imagine the brutality of the sound when you rev this thing), and reaches well over 7000rpm to get to the top speed…

With a base price of well over $365,000 this extraordinary vehicle is not one I’ll be driving soon — but as BMW fan I just had to share this one… Enjoy the pics!

An absolute stunner. I think I’m in love…

The look isn’t bad, and I understand it’s something…. different — but they don’t all look as good as the one the Rimsorizer did (we mentioned those before right here!).

Anyway, if you’re thinking of getting some — one thing is vital. Get them installed, and check the strength of both lights. Give them a couple minutes to heat up, but if one stays behind in brightness — complain! You want identical brightness. That’s important!

If you decide to go for the Angel Eyes on your BMW – send me pics!

I mean I’m not the biggest tuning fan in the world to be honest — I like cars to be pure, sexy, elegant and classy. It’s pretty much what BMW is all about, and it’s why I’m a fan. Yes, it’s that simple. Still — a nice set of rims or a pretty accessory here and there are obviously never a bad thing, as long as they’re done in the classy way any BMW deserves…

Well, The Rimsorizer has done so with his BMW 320 series. By Angel-Eyeing the headlights he has created a more aggressive look for his beemer, while never losing any class. Well done!

Pics thanks to rimsorizer.com, obviously.
